January to June 2007 a Love Story

Okay, it didn't suck the whole year. The beginning of 2007 was pretty darn nice. Gary and Jess were wedding planning. There were showers and bachelor parties and bachelorette parties and planning of the rehearsal dinner. All in all the whole thing was quite fun. They were married on June 15th and had a lovely reception with about 200 people. It was a great day and a huge success. Hannah was the flower girl and was so struck by her duties that when she got on the stage she stood frozen to the spot being the best flower girl ever. When the recessional played she walked back down the aisle with the other flower girl with grace and poise. Then she ran into the closet at the church and cried and cried. When I finally was able to wrangle it out of her, it seems we neglected to mention to her there would be an audience during the wedding. Poor thing got up on stage and saw all those people staring at her and was scared to pieces. She said, "they were all looking at me and I wanted to cry but knew I wasn't allowed to so I held it in to the end." What a brave and wonderful flower girl she was.

Everything was great and the happy couple had a had a beautiful and joyous wedding celebration. Who could ask for anything more.
